Dear A.B., I am sure there are many in Olympia who claim<\/em> to be cosmetic dentists. You see, it’s\u00a0 just too easy for a dentist to say they are a cosmetic dentist. Since it’s\u00a0 not a legally separate specialty, it’s open for anyone to make that claim. But, in my opinion, very, very few who make that claim are what I would call cosmetic dentists. In my mind, a cosmetic dentist is an artist<\/a> who can produce a beautiful smile. Dentists overwhelmingly have a technician mindset, and they are trained to be technicians. Maybe 1% are really artists.<\/p>\n I think you’re going to have to travel at least to Tacoma to find a genuine expert cosmetic dentist. I believe there is one in Tacoma, and there are several excellent Seattle cosmetic dentists<\/a>.<\/p>\n In states that have large cities, there is a tendency of excellent cosmetic dentists to move to those large cities. That’s the case in the state of Washington. Most of those dentists\u00a0who have chosen to focus on esthetics have chosen to practice in the Seattle area, with a sprinkling of others in distant parts of the state.
\nI can understand why you’re asking this question. Olympia has a population of about 44,000, and you are thinking, therefore, that there will be a number of cosmetic dentists there. However,\u00a0I can’t give you a list of expert cosmetic dentists in Olympia, Washington. In fact, I can’t give you the name of even one<\/em> expert cosmetic dentist<\/a> there.<\/p>\n
