The Tooth Mousse<\/a> is a treatment that is designed to treat “white spot” lesions. Its purpose is to remineralize them to help keep them from turning into cavities. I don’t believe the company makes any esthetic claims, though, for the product used alone and not combined with microabrasion treatments also.<\/p>\n But he is WAY off on prescribing\u00a0tooth whitening<\/a>\u00a0treatments. The\u00a0whitening will probably make the spots worse. Tooth bleaching generally whitens everything, so it is contraindicated if you have any spots on your teeth.<\/p>\n You need an expert cosmetic dentist, and there are two ways to get rid of white spots on teeth, depending on their nature.<\/p>\n One is with a procedure called “microabrasion<\/a>,” where an acid-pumice slurry is rubbed onto the surface of the teeth, and many white spots then disappear.<\/p>\n
