JK veneers are made with a particular brand of porcelain, known as Creation dental porcelain.
While this is a beautiful porcelain, there are many beautiful porcelains, and we think it’s a mistake to hunt for a dentist or a laboratory that uses this brand.
We recommend picking the cosmetic dentist, not the laboratory. (Read our related page about MAC Veneers for an explanation.)

- Read Dr. Hall’s blog post answering a visitor who asks him about JK Veneers.
- Dr. Hall explains why putting Lumineers over crowns is a bad idea. Some dentists are suggesting doing this.
- You may want to read about Vivaneers and about GlamSmile. These are two variations on porcelain veneers made by different companies. They are supposedly easier and cheaper than the conventional alternatives.
