Here are some photographs of dental implants work by one of our mynewsmile.com network dentists. Many expert cosmetic dentists are also very skilled in the restoration of dental implants.

There are many complications in making a truly cosmetic dental implant. If the surgery is being done by an oral surgeon or periodontist and not the cosmetic dentist, there needs to be excellent communication between the surgeon and the cosmetic dentist about the exact placement of the abutment. The appearance of a case can be ruined if the angle, position, or size of the implant abutment is incorrect. Then, when the crown is placed over the abutment, the shading, translucency and contours need to be expertly handled to get a perfectly natural-looking tooth. Look at the dental implant below, again done by one of our network dentists.
Here is the surgically placed dental implant abutment. Because this person didn’t want to have the adjoining teeth straightened or treated in any way, excellent artistic sense and careful visualization of the final result are needed by the surgeon who is surgically placing the abutment.
In this dental implant “after” picture, you can see that the replaced tooth blends in so naturally that no one can tell it isn’t a real tooth. This is the look the patient desired. This case was extra difficult because the inclinations of the roots of the adjacent teeth are such as to leave little room for surgical error in placing the abutment.
