His father, retired dentist Dr. Sidney Markowitz, was been an accredited cosmetic dentist with the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry for years, and was also president of that organization in 1994-95. He has a wide-ranging reputation and has written numerous articles and lectured at dental organizations around the country.
His son, Dr. Eric, graduated magna cum laude from the Baltimore College of Dental Surgery and then completed two additional years of specialty training to become a prosthodontist. A prosthodontist specializes in complex tooth restorations, including crowns, bridges, removable dentures, and dental implants. He also does beautiful smile makeovers, bonding, porcelain veneers, and other cosmetic dental work. |
