No, you’re not too old for Invisalign.

There is a study group called the Molis coaching group where Invisalign dentists get together and discuss cases and techniques. They did a survey asking about the oldest patients in Invisalign who are patients of the dentists in the group. They found that there were several patients in the group in their 80s who were in Invisalign treatment. But that wouldn’t even be an upper limit—that’s just to give you an idea of who is doing this treatment. There is no upper age limit.

Invisalign is popular among older adults because they don’t want to have the hassle or the appearance of brackets on their teeth. They also don’t have to worry about going through extraordinary means to keep the teeth clean. Braces will catch food and smell bad unless you brush after every little snack. With Invisalign, you just take out the aligners, eat, clean your teeth if you have the chance, and put the aligners back in. And Invisalign gets results about twice as fast as conventional braces and are much more comfortable.
